Tips for visiting Disneyland Paris

• Bring your own food.

The main reason is it saves lots of queueing.

• Bring a stroller or wagon for any children younger than eight.

Otherwise they will be tired and impatient long before the end of the day.

• Get to the main gate 35 minutes before opening.

There is no point arriving earlier because the queues will be minimal before that time. Ignore this if you are staying at a Disney Hotel. In that case, you get to enter the park an hour before those who are staying elsewhere.

• When they open the outer gates of the park, run off to the far left or far right.

The inner gates span a much wider distance than the outer ones. Most people will only notice the parts of the inner gates directly in front of them and will join the queues there. By running off to the sides, you can get further to the front than you would otherwise.
